Reason for book:

1 Peter 3:15 But in your heart set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

I would like to invite non believers to join me in my personal reasons for the hope in me. Most of what I present is scriptures and evidences that I view as being true & proven. I may not cover complete scriptures on every bible subject but the URLs for answers pages 30 & 48 will do so.

I believe God wants the reason for ones hope to be organized & ready in ones mind is to keep one humble & gentle in respect to God & his creations. This enables his disciples to influence others as opportunity arises. As a Christian one needs to use all reasonable means of reaching others with actions & facts that may encourage them to study the bible & to better understand Gods inspired message to man.

Remember that many may not have been exposed to the bible except via others opinions & hearing the negative remarks & actions concerning it of which there are plenty. Perhaps the following information will help some.
There are other acceptable bible versions but some have been altered. My attempt is to use quotes from the non copyrighted King James Version.

Evolution:
Let me say I see & believe in Microevolution the only evolution that Darwins theory found and is in agreement with proven science and with the bible. Darwin did theorize Macro-evolution changes from one species to others but it was a theory without any proven macro-evolution even today. 

New Merriam Collegiate Dictionary Eleventh Edition:
Microevolution comparatively minor evolutionary changes involving the accumulation of variations below the species level.
Macroevolution evolution that results in large complex changes such as changes in species.

Let me note that the change of i to a, just one letter spans a gap in these two scientific words that is un-provable & can only be based on a hope. Christianity is based on a hope that is based on evidences so extensive, when know, that doubt is removed.

One of the worlds big, unfair, and yes dangerous immoral problems is the evolutionist promotion of their agenda by getting their theory published in school books as if proven facts. They have succeeded in doing so too many years. The presentation is fine but should be taught & stated as theory. This early exposure to unproven or false facts can prevent many from accepting a more moral agenda in their lives because it is made to sound like it proves Gods all important message wrong. I list many of these but the damage is done though the proposed science was proved wrong.

Another problem is non biblical acts done as assumed Christianity but are non-biblical & sinful acts. History has always revealed that men have acted outside the real rules of what ever the intended rules have been so some say the rules caused the problem. This is rampantly occurring today by men acting outside the bible. Paul mistakenly was persecuting the Christians believing he was following Gods direction in persecuting the Christians. Acts 9-1 Jesus got Pauls attention & gave him rules to follow which he complied with. Paul was an apostle & wrote 12 or 13 of the N.T. books. Later when preaching he called himself the chief of sinners.   

A more moral society based on love should benefit everyone.

I do not attempt or desire to judge any one in presenting my reasons but only to present scriptures from the bible that speak for God. I also desire to present other facts that I also sincerely believe to be honest, true, & worthy of expressing. I do ask questions or state opinions that are just my thoughts on some matters. 

I believe the Bible, Gods wisdom, is the inspired word of God & is supported by proven evidences. Note the wise ways God does things throughout the bible. Also read Proverbs to view much wisdom contained in just one book of the bible. You likely will be in agreement with God in the advice He gives in Proverbs.     

Proverbs 3:15 she (wisdom) is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

The Bible is very unique among books in the world. One person did not or could not have written it. It rather was written by 40 different authors under Gods authorship, over about a 1600 year time span. The O.T. has been documented historically beyond any doubt as it was copied to perfection. The Dead Sea Scrolls found in the year of 1948 helps to further verify the O.T.

Without exception, to this very day, where the skeptic has stated the Bible has been in error, archaeology has proven it to be correct.

Keep in mind that thousands of books have been and are today being written on proposed religion that are simply mens thoughts with no connection to the bible. Many are attempts to add to or subtract from the inspired scriptures & God warns all against doing this but with seemingly little response.

Ecclesiastes 12:12 be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.

God is not warning of books of genuine history because He uses & records the most accurate ancient history available & obviously knows how important history is in verifying his word. This to me shows Gods wisdom.  It has been said that we need history as much as we need bread & water. Think about where we would be without folk lore, inventions, medical history, bible history, business & financial history & etc. as a guide. 

My reasons for believing the bible have grown over time & are far too numerous to cover in this writing. God was and is so very complete in providing us evidence in and outside the bible of his existence that I can only give part of my reasons for the hope I have of eternal life.My hope is to get one who does not understand the bible to examine the simplicity and clarity of it and let it convince one it is authentic, which it will do. Christ used parables, short fiction stores, to illustrate a moral attitude or religious principle for ones easy understanding.  

Once I better understood the bibles simple overall plan from Genesis to Revelations the bible alone was even more sufficient to convince me that it came from an awesome force exceeding the ability of an uninspired person or persons being able to present it.

One area of evidence that is too extensive to include are over 1200 prophecies in the Old Testament fulfilled in the New Testament. I do however list the scripture about prophecies of Jesus. (P 35 36)
Men could not have done the coordination (a miracle with in itself) between the books of the bible even if they had all been writing in the same room at the same time with all present day communication technology.

Jesus could not have been a false messiah as fulfilling these prophecies would have been impossible for any mere person as many others had tried.

A simple news story reported on by several news reporters will come up with widely varying stories. This is another example of why presenting the bible would be an impossible task other than God authored the bible and men presented it. The writers were also separated by time and distance without the use of todays communication technology. Writing was difficult for them as todays printers, paper, pens, erasers, & etc. were unknown.

The internet is a good source for information but has to be assessed as to its truthfulness both pro & con as to the bible. James Coffman's Commentary

God is still allowing us to discover evidence of the accuracy of the bible. One can search the internet for other proof including prophecies, archeology, & secular history. I list some in parts of this writing. To search for more go to Yahoo, Google, Lycos, and other URLs using search words such as, bible history, prophecies, bible evidence, apologetics, evolution hoaxes, evolution lies, History of Jesus, & etc.

Apology (apologetics) originally meant in defense of but not an excuse for as some may think based on todays common use of the term. I have heard some mistakenly ask why do you need to apologize for the bible?
God has continually provided new & better ways to learn of Him with the internet now being at ones fingertips. One will also find intermingled in the searches, much on evolution, and other anti biblical information just as one gets on television, in personal conversations, from printed material such as National Geographic, and etc. The choices will have to be ones own, based on which is the more reasonable to believe.

The Internet:

I remind again that much on the internet can be and is outright false but most truth can easily be separated when researched and ones biases are left out.

The Internet now can quickly and easily provide scriptural answers to your bible questions. God warns not to pick and choose just to prove what one already believes & does.

How we make decisions:

I accept the idea that a persons decisions are guided by their mosaic of accumulated knowledge and some of that knowledge could be false.

Young students through college graduates should be aware of efforts in schools to brain wash your thought process by teaching frauds & even preventing any mention of the bible at school. This can have a devastating effect on your thinking & lead you into many misfortunes of life. Education in schools helps one to get work but educating your self for living can help avoid many misfortunes. Go to Google & search Evolution frauds. This is covered later in this writing but would like for you to do a quick search now & compare to this writing as to which is more believable. A true factual mosaic of knowledge about these frauds can save your life plus we all want to know where we came from.   

Non believers decisions may lean toward, un-responding belief in the bible, macroevolution, anti bible, or take an agnostic (neutral?) view based on ones past knowledge. We all can improve our mosaic of knowledge by truly seeking (feeding on) the truth & should not let previous beliefs & biases stand in our pathway of learning. Learning new information could help one to accept God.

Two Wolves:

The following is a commonly known story about the battle between good and evil over control of our minds & actions.

One evening a wise old Cherokee answered his grandsons question about what makes people act like they do.

He said, My son, the battle is between 2 wolves inside us.
One wolf is evil, it is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, sellpity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego

The other wolf is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather Which wolf wins?
The wise old Cherokee simply replied, The one you feed.

This story can remind one of Gods wise advice:

Phil. 4:8 finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever
things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

This story is especially wise as the old Cherokee uses two wolves & not a wolf & a lamb because even the good wolf is not trainable to anywhere near perfection so better describes people as none are perfect.

Elders church leaders:
In my own mosaic of knowledge God gave us a good example, in the New Testament, of how the church is to be controlled locally & is good advice for any organization. This, to me, shows His wisdom. He directed each church congregation to pick their own elders instead of selecting elders (bishops) or shepherds for all or part of all the congregations in the world. 1 Tim 3 gives qualification of the church leaders.
From the very start many Jews became followers of Christ (Acts 2:36-41) yet many were & and still are resistant to accepting what their Messiah taught.
Problems have always occurred in human relationships and for many reasons as history illustrates. Difficulties arise less in close net groups, but more so in churches, government & etc. to a much greater frequency. To me the best relationship between leaders & their subjects occurs the closer he is to his subjects & the closer he follows the established rules i.e. the bible in church matters.
The United Nations actions are, far, far, removed from representing my wishes because of the many organizational levels of its structure. They are even further removed than our leaders actions in Washington or our state actions. Once an organization is established it is difficult to get rid of, whether it is a government law, a new religious group, new catechisms & etc. The reasons for this resistance to change are far too numerous to even attempt to cover in this writing but survivors always exist to perpetuate most any system. What control or effect does an individual have over a far removed leader?  Was God wise in this choice? 
All churches may have disagreements but they are better handled & less overall disruptive if handled on a local level as the bible advises. I think one would agree it is easier & quicker to solve problems on a local level which God directed in selecting elders in each congregation. The Old T. Sanhedrin court could not solve the division among the Jews where division occurred as a result of Peters preaching. Many Jews became Christians yet many adhered to the still existing Jewish faith. Churches split to day but there are some who will stay or leave for non scriptural reasons so two supposedly acceptable churches are formed. 
Peters Sermon started Christs Church when responders were added to it.

Acts 2:36-41 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?  38 Then Peter said unto them, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, save your selves from this untoward generation. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.    
We all can improve our mosaic of knowledge by truly seeking (feeding on) the truth & should not let previous beliefs & biases stand in our pathway of learning.

My effort has been & is to truly look at all information & decide which
is true & believable based on factual & believable information & put it
in this writing.

The bible says, scripture quoted later, that if Moses, the prophets, &
the raising of Christ from the dead in O.T. does not convince one of Gods plan then one cannot be convinced. This knowledge is only from the bible.

The evidence I am presenting is in hopes of getting all to search the scriptures, now easily getting bible questions answered on the internet
by the use of all scriptures on a subject.

Jesus was/is divine:

Knowing human nature, I do not believe Jesus could have come and changed the world with out the real prophecies being fulfilled, the miracles performed by himself, the miracles performed by those inspired apostles who spread the gospel further, and the miracle of Christs rising from death. This was Gods purpose for these prophecies and miracles and they did work and will convince all who will listen.

Miracles & Prophecies purpose:

John 20:3031 30 and many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

31 but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

As I understand the bible the need for miracles were completed and no longer are performed though some attempt to perform such. 

Also there was the establishing of many churches based on the inspired scriptures surviving and thriving through the 400 years of church persecution. The writers were constantly under threat often put in jail, some dying as martyrs yet they persevered which is contrary to human nature. In spite of the persecutors all out effort Jesus still succeeded in a big way. Paul & John wrote 10 of the N.T. books while in prison.

Another bit of supporting evidence was there were others who claimed to
be the Messiah but all failed yet Jesus has had the greatest impact on
the earth of any human regardless of their power. Many, of our hospitals, schools, businesses, & etc. resulted from Jesus visit to earth.

When understood the bible can convince one of the wisdom, reality & truth of Gods word. God inspired the writing of the bible & gave Christians the Holy Spirit & the God given conscience to assist them to a much better physical earthly life. Jesus is the door to heaven & He will lead one
to a better spiritual life in the hereafter so there is a double reward.
Jesus also established His church to assist one in being His disciples
& is the doorway to heaven.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me.

John 109 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved,
and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Napoleon reportedly speaking from prison about Jesus: well, then, I will tell you Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, and I myself have founded great empires; but upon what did these creations of our genius depend? upon force. Jesus alone founded His empire upon love, and to this very day millions will die for Him. I think I understand something of human nature; and I tell you, all these were men, and I am a man; none else is like Him: Jesus Christ was more than a man .

Gods wise instructions for evil through Jesus and Civil Government:

There seems to be much confusion based on TV interviews. It seems
every one has a different opinion, about the general laws we operate under in the New Testament. The following discusses this as I understand His word.

I understand that God saw the problem of evil & set the N.T. rules to control evil in the world. This seems a fair and wise move on His part. 

Some will ask what would Jesus have done & should have added or ask what would He have had civil government to do?

As individuals or as a church congregation we cannot by Gods
Instructions administer justice. In the N.T. God designates the civil government to do justice against evil as His minister along with Him.

Gods providence is always at work. The word providence is not found in the bible but God provides all.

Gods providence in governing:

Eastons Bible Dictionary, The mode of God's providential government is  unexplained. We only know that it is a fact that God does govern all his creatures and all their actions; that this government is universal.

Psalm 103:17-19 17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; See Prov.2:1-5 or Page 43

18 To such as keep his covenant,and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

19 The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. (God has remote control far superior to mans ability) 

Civil government is God ordained:
Rom 13:4 For he is the minister of God, to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger, to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

This, to me, means wars are justified against evil and so is the death penalty if needed. In my mind soldiers & policemen are doing Gods work
in ridding the world of evil but if others interpret this differently then one has choices and the Gov. recognizes the option of being a conscientious objector so far as serving.

Other civil law death penalty bible references:

When the apostle Paul appeared before Festus, he said, "If then I am a wrong- doer, and have committed anything worthy of death, I refuse not to die."(Acts 25:11).  Paul confirms right of civil law to rule.
Pilate inquired of Jesus, "Knowest thou not that I have power to release thee, and have power to crucify thee?"(John 19:10) Jesus did not argue the point with Pilate, but answered, "Thou wouldest have no power against me, except it were given thee from above." The N.T. law was not yet in effect.

The Decalogue (ten commandments) did not ruled out capital punishment. The commandment said, "Thou shalt not kill."(Exodus 20:13) however, from a further reading of the same context this commandment did forbid murder, but it was never considered inconsistent with capital punishment. In the very next chapter the law of God provided: "He that smiteth a man, so that he dieth, shall surely be put to death."(Exodus 21:12) All killing is not murder just as all sexual relations are not fornication.

Real bible based religion for the individual, family, and the church, which is the people, is laid out in the following scriptures as I understand.

Matthew 22:3640 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandant. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Love did in the O.T & does in the N.T. fulfills Gods law, says St. Paul, Romans 13:10; for he who has the love of God in him delights to obey the Divine precepts, and to do all manner of kindness to men for God's sake.
On this date in 1790 Benjamin Franklin wrote his creed on belief: "I believe in one God, Creator of the Universe. That He governs it by his Providence. That He ought to be worshiped. That the most acceptable Service we render to His is doing good to his other children."


God revealed:

It seems to me that a person having a God given spirit and conscience has a need for God. Through out history men have recognized Gods existence through his creations and sought him before He presents himself through knowledge & understanding See Romans 1:2021 below following the poem.
This is an easy scripture for one to believe giving just one reason out
of thousands of reasons to put ones hope in the bible. I do see and believe God through his creations so I choose Him and am studying His word further and hope others would do so.

Einstein quote: The scientists religious feeling takes the form of a rapturous amazement at the harmony of natural law, which reveals an intelligence of such superiority that, compared with it, all the systematic thinking and acting of human beings is an utterly insignificant reflection. Another Einstein quote: The important thing is not to stop questioning curiosity as it has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality!! (Albert Einstein, 18791955)

This doesnt say that Einstein believed in the God of the bible but it does show that what the bible says about Gods creations are true of the smartest observers to less intelligent observers.

I only quote Einstein but a list could include millions, of highly intelligent Americans including scientists who believe in a superior intelligence. Virtually ever US president has believed likewise. In my
32 year career I got to know hundreds of physicians very well over many years and do not remember even one saying they did not believe in God, though some may not so believe. I do know that most were church members.
Evolutionists will tell you scientist do not believe in the bible. Physicians are the very best scientific judges of life and evolution as most other scientists have only bits & pieces of the knowledge about humans & animals very complicated organs.
A person attending church knows that many Drs attend church and it is reasonable for me to believe they knowing the human body can better see that evolution can not explain how the many interdependent body functions could develop separately when not needed then suddenly start functioning together as a completely functioning system, like the liver, pancreas, eye, brain & etc. That scientists do not believe in God is a falsehood.

Jesus will judge all who have ever lived:

Historically most every society in existence over time has had a belief
in a greater being, even today most including non believers use the term Mother Nature which all agree is magical & beyond our full understanding. God created nature and works through all sources including nature as well as through people. God will use the natural law of conscience & nature to judge the Gentiles that lived before He disclosed His directions so no one misses the chance of heaven.

Rom. 2-14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another.

Evolutionists cannot explain the God given extra sense of conscience that humans have. This is one sense animals do not possess.

Hands of God

The things God has made declares Him to the world.

Romans 1:2021 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so they are without excuse.

This to me says that one has no excuse, whatever one may think, for not knowing the only God. The question one must ask is what to do about it?

Why discard this scripture since it has been proven over and over to be true? The ancient societies created gods even before God revealed himself to them with knowledge & understanding in presenting the 66 book library called the bible.


Books: Religious Man written: 

The ancient Greeks had an elaborate system of gods even worshiping one unknown god to which Paul introduced them to the God of the bible.

The Romans also, with many of their gods now used in naming the months of the year in todays calendars. Keep in mind there were extensive writings about these & other gods believed to exist because they had not met the one & only God. The names of these gods are still used today in many, many, ways but not in a religious sense.


Pauls statement in Acts, to the Greeks about the unknown God:

Acts 17:23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, Him, declare I unto you.

As stated above the Greeks & others with gods in early times wrote thousands of books on religions and these are being misused today as in old times. The following quote is in reference to the people of Ephesus & Corinth about their errors in beliefs.

Acts 19:19 many of them also, which used curious arts, brought their books together and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

It is a shame that in our own times today all kinds of spiritualists, fortune-tellers, palm-readers, and voodoo specialists are operating in
the same manner as those ancient sinners.

Most of the proposed religious books written after the bible was finished tie themselves in some way to the bible as the bibles presence was so
well known many even calling them gospels.

Some today not knowing the truth are inferring that the bible is just
some of these many ancient books. See examples later like the books
relied on in the DA Vinci Code novel following later.

Also note the 14 books added to the inspired scriptures at the Council of Trent in 1546 by the state church. This was more than 1400 years, after the inspired scriptures had been written, put in book form, and used by churches hundreds of years.

The Islamic Koran, as I understand it, is basically based on the O.T.
with some references to the N.T., supposedly delivered by an angel to Mohammed who they believe to be the real messiah instead of Jesus. The Koran was written about 600 years after the bible was written completed
& many, many, Christian churches were established.

Gods challenge to other gods:

God challenged other gods to prove themselves that we have a choice of believing or not believing their god. God with wisdom uses evidences abundantly so we like jurors can make wise decisions.

Isaiah 41:22-23 Let them bring them forth, and show us what shall happen: let them show the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come. 23 Show the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.

God has given such proof of His existence that I cant have any doubt. I havent seen any evidence offered by other gods.

I am like the societies & people of past history and have no problem recognizing Gods existence & greatness through His creations and believing this I have so chosen. I can with much evidence, understanding, observation, & logic have a strong faith that God exists & is a rewarder of those who so believe & should be so honored.


God gives us Instructions but we choose:  

I believe He would not have created & put humans in charge with out
giving clear instructions & expecting us to meet that responsibility. He gives each a choice to accept or deny Him so this of necessity prevents Him from programming humans like He apparently has the ants, bees, & etc.
This should answer some non-believers question of why God did not make
us, like what they think is, perfect to start with. He did make us morally perfect from the start but we have choices which may interfere. Robots or computers (ants, bees, etc.) are not very loving or caring so how could they be like God?

I once thought God made Paul do what he did. God only got his attention then presented instructions & Paul followed up with actions of his own choice. God showed his wisdom by selecting Paul because of his education, his dedication to his belief, & his ability to reach the gentiles.

I believe that man is both a physical & a spiritual being & by scripture, such belief is necessary for faith in God. A Gnostic belief is virtually impossible to fully define but one group believes that man is both an outer man & an inner man. They believe what God did yet do not give Him credit believing they are much smarter than God who created man with a spirit and a physical body.

The Godhead:

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let US make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and
over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

The word US in this verse is referring to God the Spirit, Jesus the
Spirit who also came as a human, & The Holy Spirit, referred to in the bible as the Godhead all existing in the very beginning. All were part
of Gods plan at the creation of the world.

We are in the likeness of God in that we humans have a spiritual
existence with a spirit, soul, & a conscience to assist us & we must be able to recognize this dual existence in order to believe in God. I have no problem recognizing that man is in the leading role on earth, has a soul, spirit, & a conscience, as the bible states. Also, like God, man fills different positions like, Christian, husband, father, employee & etc. I say this because some seem to disbelieve that God can exist & function as three entities.

How much easier would a spirit be able to do so than a human?

It is so obvious to me & common sense tells me that man is different
than animals, & that there are magical unexplained things of this world around me daily. Evolutionists do not so believe yet they have no answer as to where these human traits come from as they apparently see man only as animal with only animal instincts which are them selves magical
beyond the physical state.

Eccl. 12:7 and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the
spirit returns to God who gave it.



Dissent, mans unbelief, pride creates:
John 3:20 for every one that doeth evil hates the light, neither cometh
to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Psalm 10:4 the wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not
seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

Those who do not believe in God, possibly in vain pride may feel they do not want to yield to a higher authority. They may be doing quite well
& doing what they want to do so dont feel a need for God & dont want to be bothered. Let some personal tragedy happen like a crippling accident, death of a loved one, 911, Tsunami, or Katrina, & we all feel more comfortable in turning to God. This is a comfort one can have only
by accepting God.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 3:24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid:
yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

A Christian can lie down at night and rest much better than possibly having their conscience bother them & is both comforting and healthy.

One can expect that life will likely get ones attention before one gets through this life so please do not let the heart and conscience becomes
so hardened that one will not respond at a future time. Bad experiences, often brings one to God but why wait. One must learn from the experiences of others because one will not live long enough to make them all by ones self and one could die tomorrow unprepared.

The bible is full of experiences that one can learn from. Some are examples of even bad things happening that good can come from them like Joseph telling his brothers who sold him into slavery.

Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. (Josephs statement to his brothers)

Another possible example of bad happening was why there were 400 years of Christian church persecution so the inspired scriptures would be kept secretly and better preserved before consolidating into the bible. The intended evil brought about good, the opposite of what the persecutors intended.

The bible:

To me the only extensive, clear, & believable instructions are biblia plural of biblion (which means book of books) from which the term Bible
is taken. No other religion comes from any source remotely resembling
the magical completeness, wisdom  & accuracy of the bible along with
many other evidences outside the bible.
A library is exactly what God, acting through men, left for us made up
of 66 books so interconnected & synchronized that the basic (O.T.) Old Testament, theme cannot be separated from the basic (N.T.) New Testament, theme. There is extensive O.T. referral to the coming Messiah Jesus.
Jesus lived under the old law, obeyed it and extensively referred back
to the O.T. himself or through the inspiration of the N.T. writers.
Some say the O.T. is Jesus concealed and the N.T. is Jesus revealed in
an easily understood book, presented over about 1600 years or a day &
one half in Gods terms.

What proof was ever presented by others who started the other supposed gods & religions? Most seemingly started with a man telling people
stories possibly to soothe their God given conscience giving them a sense of comfort. This seemingly occurs more today than earlier. Many seemingly started mainly to collect money.

To me the lottery, alcohol, drugs & etc. shows how easy it is to take
ones money because it makes them feel good. Feeling good followed by a
big let down after not winning or maybe a hangover after alcohol or drug use  should not cost one their money or their life.
Those who start with a new religion are clearly told by the scriptures that they are violating Gods word by additions or subtractions from it. See false prophets later on pages 27, 28, & see if any warnings apply to ones personal situations.

Rev 22:18-19, 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life Rev 20:15, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Many claim to follow the bible but seem confused by failing to follow.
I cannot believe so awesome & powerful a God would leave anything less than the bible to guide all humans in fulfilling a rewarding earthly
life & in fulfilling their duty to Him? The bible was not only presented by inspiration but in the finishing chapter gives the above warning. The question one should ask is am I letting others misguide me as God has warned.    

It became necessary to combine the true books of the bible as faulty writings were creeping in to some early churches even in Pauls day. The same thing is happening today when men depart from bible teaching.
Some try to make the church an entertainment center. Some make being a church member easy so they can increase attendance possibly to collect more money & etc. Remember there were & are today all kinds of false prophets writing their version of what their god wanted, writing for profit, writing for notoriety, & other reasons.

Pauls words about the encroachment of false doctrines: Galatians 1:67
6. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel.
7 which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

The word gospel & confusion: 

Websters dictionary: the word gospel, message concerning Christ, an infallible truth. Something promoted as infallible truth. If you notice Paul says that false doctrines may be called gospel but are not.

Eastons Bible Dictionary:  Gospel - a word of Anglo-Saxon origin, and meaning "God's spell", i.e., word of God, or rather, according to others, "good spell", i.e., good news. It is the rendering of the Greek evangelion, i.e., "good message." It denotes.

See examples like the books called gospels mentioned in the DA Vinci Code discussed later. The authors are trying to make their writing sound authentic so call them gospels.

Inspired books & confusion:

Some claim the bible did not exist before the combining of the 66 books
& that it was just loosely put together from the many, many, religious
books existing at that time. Some even think it was much later when the state church bible was restructured by adding the 14 extra books.

The world is very fortunate that the bible was effectively established so early in its history that it stands beyond the reach of those who attempt to alter it. The secrecy churches had to exercise during the 400 years of persecution was preserving the inspired bible in its true revealed form.

The message God left saying that He will always save his word:
Mt.24:35, Mk.l3:31, Lk.2l:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away; but my words shall not pass away. God may (my thought) have used the Roman Government to preserve his inspired word until the printing press came along. This state takeover did reduce the church persecution early to
some extent. Gods word gospels printed & used millions of times, false gospels have to be searched for. Has Gods word been accurate?  

Inspired (breathed of God) books put together:

This is easy to understand when human nature is considered & the many reasons why people may want to create & use their own supposed gospels, books, catechisms & etc. These writings necessitated the need to organize only the inspired scriptures into the bible. (Book of books)

This sorting was not that difficult because of the early preservation by churches, the extensive interconnections of the books to each other, the prophecies & their fulfillment in the N.T. the O.T. referring to the coming messiah, & the N.T. referring back to the O.T.
The problem was weeding out non inspired writings that had crept into
some churches & collecting  the inspired writings from the many churches.
Gods intent to keep his word intact as he promised possibly was by his inspirational guidance in the selection of the original inspired books. There were many other test applied in the selections like the O.T. books had to be revealed by a known prophet.
The bible used today uses the same basic scriptures the early churches used since its writing & by most churches today. It seems the Roman Government until 1546 did preserve & keep it alive but did miss use it & added 14 books to it. The printing press also came at that time assisting the forward progress & distribution of the original.

It was very early combined as a library which has been used by most since. The chapters were formed & even later were broken down into verses for easier study. Men have added to it and subtracted from it in their own belief that they know better what God wants in direct violation of Gods directions.

The 14 extra books in the state church bible were thought to be added in an effort to counter the protestant restoration movement which was occurring. Martin Luther was excommunicated in 1521 & the printer came near the same time. The state church had denied members from ever having
a personal bible. As a church member Bloody Mary of history had anyone with a bible killed and their bibles bathed in their blood.

A letter written by Bishop of Alexandria, (written in 367 AD) usually is cited as the historical moment in which we see the question settled. He listed as the Canon the 27 books now included in your New Testament. The O.T. was exactly as written by the Jews from the beginning. This preservation & the combining were done at a very early time after being written earlier in the lifetime of the writers.

The state church as I understand did not give these 14 books full canonical recognition until A.D. 1546, at the Council of Trent. There supposedly is not a cross reference between these books & the O.T. & N.T.

It is very sad that so very many people have & are today seemingly following many large groups using bibles & catechisms that have been altered against Gods very clear advice. Rev. 22:1819 quoted above & below. It seems they may feel ok possibly following men & a herd mentality.

The bible warned of the early churches misuse of books & is a precaution now as it was then or even more so now since today book publication & bible alteration is so quick, easy, inexpensive, profitable, & prolific.

1600 years presenting the bible would be a very short vacation for God:

2 Peter 3:89 8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends:  With
the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all shall come to repentance.

Another point is God did not present his instructions with just one unannounced messenger, as most religions have seemingly started, but over many of His days (thousands of years by our timer) All backed up with long term proven history, archeology, fulfilled prophesies, scientific facts, miracles, & many other facts in a basically simple to understand format as proof of accuracy. He even had John the Baptist to announce Jesus coming.
The N.T. delivery also was not an overnight delivery but through the life of the writers. John reportedly lived to about 93 years of age & wrote John, 1 & 2 John, and Revelations the last book. Paul the writer of 13 & possibly 14 (Hebrews) of the epistles lived until about 66 A.D. so he spent about 33 years writing & spreading the Gospel to establish many, many, churches before Nero had him beheaded in Rome.

Most of the other writers have been said to have died a martyrs death but I did not research a source to find a source that tells me this was true or false. We do know they did suffer through their Christian lives often being jailed & lives threatened. My source other than the bible is Eastons Bible Dictionary which gives many scripture sources about each writer and I rely on it because of the use of the applicable scriptures concerning each writers name.

I have found my proofs from many reliable sources including the internet but they are too extensive to include all in this writing. I am not saying parts of the bible do not present some difficulty in understanding but the truly needed guidance is so simple that it can guide anyone to an eternal spiritual life & rewarding earthly life. Some questions not related to mans salvation may not be answered by the bible as stated in scripture as follows.

Miracles were to prove Jesus:

John 20:3031 30 and many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

31 But these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, & that believing you might have life through his name.

Being added to church follows ones response:

Salvation is achieved by the following 5 scriptural steps. Just asking or praying to be saved according to some preachers advice will not get you added to the church of the bible according to the bible as I understand it.

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:
And the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Acts 2:47 praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Jews & gentiles present.

Steps for addition to His church:

Heb 11:6 Hearing Gods word for faith,

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Acts 17:30 and the times of this ignorance God winked at but now commands all men every where to repent:

Acts 8:37 Confessing Jesus, 37 And Philip said, If thou believe with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Acts 2:38 1 Pet. 3:21 Acts 22:16 Being baptized: Acts 8:38 and he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. These 4 steps gets one added to the church.

Acts 10:48 Cornelius was a good man but needed to be baptized

Just being religious as the eunuch was or being very good as Cornelius was still required taking the necessary step of baptism. Some think God will save you if youre only good or religious.   

Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, Romans 6:4
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

John 6:29 James 2:20-26 Continue working in Gods service keeps one in good standing.

God lets one start learning like an infant starts with milk (first principles) regardless of ones age when baptized.

1 Corinthians 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Jeremiahs inspiration & Universe:

There are well over 100 billion suns in our own Milky Way Galaxy, probably trillions of other galaxies (even a recently discovered other solar system in the universe.

On Oct 15, 1984 the first photographic evidence of another solar system was displayed by astronomers in Pasadena, CA. This solar system is estimated to be 293 trillion miles from earth. This makes Gods domain even larger than thought.

How did Jeremiah know since in early history two different people were recorded as being able to count only 1000 plus stars in those days?

Jeremiah 33:22 as the host of heaven cannot be numbered and the sand of the sea cannot be measured, so I will multiply the descendants of David my servant and the Levites who minister unto me.

We now can partially view the universe as a fact. It has been estimated if one were to count the suns just in our Milky Way Galaxy with estimated number of stars at 100,000,000,000(10 to 11th) at the rate of 200 per minute, it would take 1,000 years to quit counting. There are many other galaxies in the universe as we found another in 1984 with & more proof showing bible accuracy but find nothing contradicting the bible.

Isnt Gods domain awesome yet the bible clearly reveals this fact which Jeremiah could not have known so it had to be revealed to him by inspiration as the bible says it is inspired. Everything about God is awesome, the universe, the earth He gave us, the bible, the structures of life, to name a few.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness

2 Peter 1:21 for the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

To get a view of the numerous prophesies that the bible reveals & that space leaves little room to cover, go to the internet and look up bible prophesies and the fulfillment of them. This would be a time consuming task to research all but do try a few to get a feel for the massive proof God has made available to every one. 

A God that created this universe placing the earth, which He did not personally need, as a haven for us would logically not have sent any thing less than complete instructions, Biblia plural of biblion, i.e. bible book of books, of instructions which He sent through inspiration of the writers. The books are fully authored by God through inspiration with many, many, facts like ones listed above by Jeremiah that no writer could have known without inspiration. Prophecies that have been fulfilled with many if not all backed up with proof by history, astronomy, and archeology readily available evidence for any who seeks. Evidences are so numerous that I absolutely have to accept them as truth. Some seem to erase these facts out of their mind but they cant erase them from recorded records.

Evolution:

Macro-evolution claims animals evolved from one animal species to another until finally man evolved. Microevolution recognizes the same species do change traits like size, color, etc. & this is very evident but not changing from one species to another species. Micro-evolution does not contradict the bible as we understand it nor contradict any known science.
Macro-evolution does contradict both the bible as we understand it & contradicts proven Science.
Evolutionists do use micro-evolution, as Darwin did, as their proof, but have no macroevolution evidence to present. Their efforts have been repeated over & over to jump to macro-evolution. These efforts have proven false after examination sometimes taking years to prove false & many were seemingly used as intended hoaxes. Darwin warned the weakness of his theory. He wrote in his book The Origin of Species: "The number of intermediate varieties which have formerly existed on Earth must be truly enormous. Geology assuredly does not reveal any such finely graduated organic chain and this, perhaps, is the most obvious and gravest objection which can be urged against my theory.

Genesis 1 2425 And God said, let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creeps upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

My choice has to be acceptance of the bible.

The Piltdown man claimed to be a step in macroevolution & was evolutions proof which took 40 years to prove it was a hoax. Think about how many innocent people this may have led astray as it was a part of text books taught as fact. Look up the hoax on the Internet & evolutionary hoaxes which are discussed later in this writing. National Geographic promotes some such stories. The magazine covers a lot of truth but promotes hoaxes.

Bible bashing:

Ive heard a lot of comments about the contradictions in the bible & was concerned about them but on examination found them to be statements from   non believers, of short bible statements that do seem contradictory but are taken totally out of context but some dont seem to want to study them to find out the truth. These are unfounded, when the bible is fully examined & understood. Most are quite familiar with statements often taken out of context to prove a point especially in politics.

Sects 2000 religious sects & catechisms:
Some apparently pick the part of the bible that agrees with what they want & disregard the total bible instructions on a subject. This selective choosing of bible verses seems evidenced by the fact that there are over 2000 religious sects in the North American continent. This tells me that there could be errors by excluding scriptures & or adding to their own writings & that not all of Gods instructions are being followed like the bible points out in numerous warnings.  See false prophets later in this writing.

One Lord, one faith, one Baptism; one God:

It is Gods intent that his church be unified in Christ including gentiles.

John 17:21 that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Ephesians 3:4 where by, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ.

5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

6 That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
How can 2000 catechisms of instructions all be correct? The only solution to this problem is to follow the original revealed bible. This is a question not a judgment as God will judge.

Ecclesiastes 12:12 and further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

Just how many books & catechisms exist that are written by men on proposed religion?  This biblical warning is also true today with the problem being that few religious books seemingly use the full bible as their reference.

Gordon Melton author of Encyclopedia of American Religion has donated 70,000, supposedly religious books to The University of California Santa Barbara library in Calif. (Clarksville, TN. Leaf Chronicle Feb. 1 2003)
This is just a very small fraction of books and catechisms on religion being used today. Libraries & book stores, as you know, have large sections on religious books written by men. Books with full scripture references however are great learning sources.

Browns DA Vinci Code seems to lean on men written books Holy Blood, Holy Grail , The Gnostic Gospels, Secret Guardians of the True Identity of Christ, The Goddess in the Gospels, : ~ Woman with the Alabaster Jar, Mary Magdalene and the Holy Grail, and The Womans Encyclopedia of Myths and Secrets also refers to the Gnostic gospels of Phillip and Mary .
Probably all written for profit as there were about 40 millions of Browns DA Vinci Code novels sold in a very short time and movie rights sold. Wow how profitable is that? To get even a better picture of gospels written after the bible was complete and churches established search the internet using Gnostic gospels.

Just recently the gospel of Judas has been revealed by National Geographic for the profit of its interpretation & revelation. Is the bible correct when advising that money is the root of much evil?

1 Tim. 6:l0 for the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

You probably are aware that some of the other books owners brought law suits against Brown the author of the DA Vinci Code for using their books as the basis of his.

In history it is evident the old books written showed that many wanted to get in on expressing their religious views whether it was an honest attempt to serve a god before they identified the real God, making fun of the bible, or creating their own religions, for profit, even calling them gospels. I believe one would agree a book to represent God needs all subject related bible verses & chapter to truly advise others on bible religion. Book publication is a big money making industry by misusing religion on TV programs. One needs to question whether these people are interested in ones soul or ones money. Seems like a reasonable question unless they use the bibles sum of the scripture on any particular subject & dont ask for money. Any religious program or book asking for money should be investigated & probably turned away.

Everyone must make their own choice but my choice is, to the best of my ability, use the sum of Gods word. The Church of Christ, though far from perfect, as it is made up of imperfect people. The Church of Christ does seem to make an attempt to speak where the bible speaks and remain silent where the bible is silent. The local elders in each congregation try to use the sum of Gods word, avoiding non scripture supported men written books & catechisms in directing the flock.

God has revealed Himself over & over in the O.T. & N.T. as expecting obedience or be subject to possible harsh consequences.

Church name:

Is The Church of Christ the only church is sometime asked in jest? A church (any church) is the people not the building so to judge others is sinful but when teaching others it is every Christians duty to teach them the sum of Gods word. Quoting Gods scriptures as I see it is not judgment by any one but is only directions given by God himself.

The church name could be a big step in unifying & honoring what Christ & asked for & died for.

Christ died for the church & is memorialized with communion on the Lords day services in the Church of Christ so seems an appropriate name for His Church. The scriptures do use Church of God which is interchangeable since they are One. God does ask for unity. Deut. 13:4 Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear Him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve Him, and cleave unto Him.

Hebrews 5:8 Although He (Christ) was a Son, He learned obedience through what He suffered.

Since Jesus had to be obedient would God exempt humans from being obedient to His instructions?


Churches do Good: 

Again my choice is the sum of the bible instructions & is purely a choice and is not in any way my judgment of others or their religions. Ones religion is ones own responsibility hopefully backed up by appropriate scriptures & warnings. All bible based religions do wonderful work & help improve society like building schools, hospitals, orphan homes, businesses, bringing up moral citizens, and etc. Let us all pray that we are following his word rather than men and will be acceptable to Him

Let me say that to me the state church referred to is not the present Catholic Church. As I understand it apologized for past wrongs of the state church. All Church members need to ask for forgiveness for we all sin & keeping his word is clearly essential.

Repeating, I cant believe that so great & powerful a Creator would give  less instructions than God reveals in the bible. What instructions do some people seem to follow i.e. are they based on some man written book, a preacher word, or catechism. Remember He put us in a very high position in charge of the earth & must have had a reason for doing so. One might say He like the Marines is trying to recruit all good human beings. He gave us a dual existence, both physical & spiritual which He did not give animals & He will accept the free spirit he gave us but not our physical body.

I could have chosen evolution having read Darwins Origin of Species as a basis for choosing evolution. As I recall it was a very interesting book based on microevolution which does not contradict the bible. The problem is evolutionists try to jump the wide chasm from environmental induced changes to species changing from one species to another which has never been proven. Any belief of this is based only on hope.

Personal info:

I had a mixed exposure to church as during some of my early life on a farm we did not at times live close enough to attend regular services of a congregation that my parents belonged to. I did attend some of the youth activities of a local denominational church along with other friends. This did make up a part of my mosaic of knowledge from which one makes decisions.
I spent the summer after high school graduation selling books including bibles for a publishing co. so learned some more scriptures. I also spent this first summer with a student of a Christian Univ. and attended church with him during that summer and was baptized that summer.

I attended a university two quarters which included bible studies. I then transferred to & state Univ. from which I graduated with a BS in Chemistry and a minor in Biology. I mention this because I do have a science background.
I also will point out that Jesus provided a means of my getting educated. He brought the Bible that I sold through Southwestern Publishing Company Nashville TN along with other books. This company has since 1868 & still provides financial means for college financing so I am mentioning this.

Evolution:
Over time I continued to examine evolution & other religious groups not doubting God but curious about others beliefs & was not afraid of any knowledge. At every turn in evolution (mostly covered later) there was a road block to prevent me believing macroevolution.

Evolutionists may keep trying to believe in macro-evolution & other difficulties so their God given conscience is eased. Rom 2:1316 following below about God given conscience.

This as stated may be contrary to their conscience & this may discomfort them leading them to take some non-bible religion or other position based on misinformation to ease their conscience.
John 3:20 they dont want to see the light which would reveal the wrong things they do.

I have found over time the bible in every instance to guide me as necessary for my needs for a better life. Seeing a Creator with out the Bible says to me that a Creator who makes us so superior to animals lets me know that He would also leave instructions that were complete and thorough. He gave early examples of morality & obedience in the Ten Commandments, most of which are still applicable in N.T. Christianity.  Love is the heart of both the O.T & N.T.

Bible:

God presented his instructions in the form of what could be called a library of sixty six books i.e. book of books bible. The first 39 books in the Old Testament O.T. reveals the kind of God we are serving and His nature. He did not hesitate to punish & says what He means & means what He says. The O.T. was to bring us to the Messiah (Jesus) that was prophesied about many times & fulfilled with Jesus coming as was prophesied about many, times in the O.T.. God is love & He wants the best for all.  

2 Tim 3:16 all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. sufficient,

If man is thoroughly furnished there is no need for other writings which many are not willing to heed so write their own creeds. Too often the objective is to use the bible to make money. This fraud has been brought to light by dishonest TV preachers who got put in prison.


Bible misused?

An example is on one internet URL. They make two claims one that would please the unaware to attract more people but is untrue about hell (discussed later) which does exist. Another is a false claim that a child could go to hell before reaching the age of accountability. The following is so contrary to bible teaching as I understand it that I believe it should be pointed out as an interpretation error. This could be a money raising organization.

They post a picture of a child being thrown head first into a fire saying Sorry, kid, you werent a bornagain Christian so go to hell to be tortured. The last item among several subject listings is we need your help In other words send us money.
This is just one of many of what I believe are weird writings and proposed beliefs of today & is totally contrary to the bible as I read it.

Conscience:

A few of several scriptures about conscience & how it will be used to judge people before God put forth his law for them which law we today are subject to.

Rom 2:1316 13 For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers (workers) of the law shall be justified.
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are law unto themselves:
Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another; 16 in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to the gospel. (The saving power of Jesus blood flows backward so all will be judged by Him on judgment day.)

Acts 23:1 And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.
Conscience is a wonderful; sense but can take one in the wrong direction with out proper knowledge of Gods word.

Precaution on conscience:

One may act on wrong knowledge so their conscience is soothed by relying on such knowledge or from lack of knowledge. The herd mentality is not good.  God does not force one to act outside of their choices so ones salvation is ones own responsibility. Jesus only got Pauls attention but Paul then freely acted on knowledge. I once felt he had been made to change in his conversion. He was given instructions just as the bible gives one instructions today then it is up to one to act upon it.
Act on Gods word not on what someone told you what He said. Preachers & teachers are needed but check them out. V E Howard compared conscience to a clock being correct only if it is coordinated with the suns time. Conscience is a proper guide but only if coordinated with Gods word.  

Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things (Paul) said were so.

This is the wonderful thing about the internet. One has easy access to all of the scriptures on a specific subject so one can personally make an informed decision. The Holy Spirit and conscience will assist one in this regard.    

Hebrews 13:18 Pray for us for we trust we have a good conscience in all things willing to live honestly.

God made humans different from animals by installing a soul, spirit, & conscience

2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of love & of self discipline.
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and & Truth

If one cannot see the magic of the physical world, of Mother Nature, animal behavior, the complexity of every thing, & the massive universe around us, & etc. then see that God exists then one cannot believe in God who is a spirit. Some cant believe Genesis because they apparently cant in their mind separate the physical world from the spiritual or supernatural creation of the world. It is shocking to me that some few supposedly very smart men can make a robot or other systems like rockets & control with radio waves at far distances through brick walls, rain, unbelievable distances & etc. then doubt that God could do something similar & far better to control his creations calling it absurd. In my view it not only takes knowledge but wisdom, the more important aspect of knowledge which comes from God. 

Gods word violated & results:

God is love but a love that is not all just honey & sugar but includes a tough love, a spirit of power, & discipline. The Old Testament has many, many, examples of Gods instructions being violated and the results of that disobedience. Again God reveals what He wants & demands obedience.

Quoted earlier: Leviticus 10:3-1 1 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he commanded them not. (They were sons of Aaron a high priest & should have known better.)

Some say that if Christ was going to return He would have already done so. Just remember in Gods time only a few days have so far gone by.

Prophecies & miracles:

The only way, and God so indicates, that the new covenant, N.T. could have been presented, accepted, and have changed the world like it did is the fulfilled prophesies & the astounding miracles that convinced Jesus followers to tell the world about Him even to the point of suffering death as martyrs. The apostles and many, many other Christians persevered over 400 years of persecution which is contrary to human nature without some very strong reasons.
The writers of the millions of books over history all gained in some way in their writings but the writers of the inspired writings gained no wealth but suffered earthly persecutions because they knew from the miracles and rising from death proved Jesus was the promised messiah. Paul
Wrote 7 of 13 of his books while in prison as did John write in prison. 

Jesus death & His rising from death was the crowning miracle.

The apostles, following Him for three years often doubted Him to some extent even after witnessing His miracles until He came back to life & spent time with them. From then on they did not falter in their belief & dedication to his cause. They also were later given the baptism of Holy Spirit which enabled them personally to perform miracles themselves to convince others to believe the scriptures they taught.

Some may ask why did Christ need to die? Christs death was necessary for different reasons one being that a testament N.T. can only be left by the death of the giver. Another was the O.T. prophesies had to be fulfilled to the letter to complete Gods plan of salvation for man.

Heb 9:1617 16 for where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is of force after men are dead otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

I can easily believe that Christ could not have accomplished what He did as a mere human but for the astounding miracles.

The lawyer in the scriptures, knowing the scriptures, recognized this and advised the Jewish Sanhedrin Council not to do anything against Jesus and his followers. If Jesus was not the messiah promised in the Old Testament He would fail like the many others but if not they could not do anything & they would be acting against Gods will. Jesus succeeded in a dramatic way.

The Lawyers statement: Acts 5:36 Some time ago Thadeus appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. 37 After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. 38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone let them go! For if their ( Jesus) purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. 39 But if it is from God you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.
One could say this scripture statement was overwhelmingly fulfilled.

Prophesies about Jesus had to be by inspiration:

The following 30 prophecies concerning Jesus Christ were made in the Old Testament and were fulfilled hundreds of years later, during Jesus Christs life on earth. They are followed by the O.T. verses of each prophecy then the N.T. verses of the prophecys fulfillment.
Note the number of books, the connections, the inseparability & time span of writing of these books in Gods library. Can one honestly say man alone could have created such an accurate, awesome & miraculous library?


1. He would be born of a Virgin (Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:18)
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

3. Jesus would be of King Davids seed (Jeremiah 23:5 and Luke 3:23,31).
4. He would be a prophet (Deuteronomy 18:1819 and Matthew 21:11)
5.   Jesus would be born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2 and Matthew 2:1)

Note that this was predicted hundreds of years before crucifixion used.

22.  He would suffer thirst (Psalms 22:15 and John 19:28)
23 He would be buried in rich mans tomb (Isa. 53:9, Matt. 27:5760).
24.  Jesus would cry, My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me!
( Psalms. 22:1 and Matt. 27:46 ).
25.  He would be taken down in His prime (Psa. 89:45 and 102:2324)

Another choice that is easy for me to make: It would be impossible to coordinate these books without inspiration from God.

The Old Testament was to bring us to Christ & the New Testament which completes Gods instruction & is totally sufficient so that any addition or subtractions to the bible are unnecessary and sinful.

Galatians 3:2425 24 Where-fore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster

2 Cor.3:6 who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

2 Tim.3:17 So that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Bible debased:

First I am much aware that there are a lot of people who deny the bible other than just evolutionists for many reasons. Some write books like the novel DA Vinci Code & thousand & thousands of other such books mostly for money. The latest figures that I found was 40 million of DA Vinci Code books had been sold.
I saw in one supposedly quote of the author Brown saying Im very glad that it was so controversial. He knows how people sadly want to read about controversy & bad news even if it is intended false information claimed by the author to be factual included in a supposed novel.

There have been many, many proposed religions over the centuries some of which were blended together when a country was taken captive by another. As mentioned earlier the Greeks & Romans had an elaborate combination of gods for every purpose. Most often today these religions are used to imply the insignificance of & inaccuracy of the bible like it is just some of these religions written books randomly put together.

Another common attack on the bible is using the different language word interpretations from the bibles use of the word as if they are the only one qualified to interpret what the bible says though the bible is available in virtually ever known language in the same basic words. The debasers give you their meaning of a word which may have different meanings then claim the bible is in error.

Internet contains efforts to debase the bible.

The lawyers recommendation to the Jewish Sanhedrin Counsel should be heeded by these bible debasers as there is nothing they can do if the bible, which they doubt, is for real & they possibly gain little relief of their conscience.

The science that some think is being held up by Christians is imaginary as God created science & controls it. There are, likely more Christians scientist Drs. etc. than non Christians. Christians are in agreement with Einstein in saying dont stop questioning curiosity as it has its own reason for existing. Christians rejoice in increased knowledge & technology but want the knowledge to be real & do not want the hoaxes to continue which occur often. Most early US universities were started by Christians. Christians simply view human life as being more worthy than some, so are oppose to destroying a human being, fetus, especially for unlikely fairy tale cures when other human cells may do as well in research. Why destroy a new life with only a very, very, remote chance of helping a person who has already experienced much of their life. They still have a chance of cure with out the loss of a new life since other cells work similarly & may be just as good especially cells from the embryo blood. Evolutionists theory has proven wrong time after time which could have guided me for years if I had followed evolution theory & had believed the things that have proven wrong. Some school text books still contain many of them as science with no mention that it is only theory & they are still being taught in schools. As a science student I was exposed to these frauds more than some students.

For some time I looked at the many lined up fake drawings of the supposedly progression from ape to man which all must have seen over many years. The series of drawings starts with stooped stances & long arms, gradually straightening body, & shorter arms, until several drawings later taking the appearance of a man.
This might seemed logical & real to young people but are obviously an artists imagination with no basis for reality. The only supposed support was an occasional bone fragment that could have been used to draw any creature the artist desired so is null & void of any scientific proof & is an outright deception.

The more sincere evolutionists have about abandoned this series of pictures as proof of evolution but the pictures are still displayed by some die hard evolutionists. The pictures are still an influence on many, especially young, people as proof of evolution which is a shame because they make no disclaimer. One has to find out for ones self.

Some evolutionists use statements like the following which somewhat shows how little they may know or understand about God. They say Christians worship a creator who literally and directly created the visible universe with hands and fingers. It is evident that they can only relate to the physical world to believe a spirit works with human physical fingers. They imply Christians appear dumb when it may be they who are limited in their vision. I pray for those who do not know that God is a spirit and does not function as an ordinary physical man other than when He often works through acts of men.

Another false story is that the Human fetus has gills as if we came from fish & this was used in text books for years and still may be in some school texts though it has been proven to be a hoax.

A favorite claim is that there is so much similarity between many animal species skeletons so evolutionists say one must have come from another & try periodically try to prove such. A good example is claiming some small dinosaurs changed into birds because their skeletons were so similar to birds skeletons. Evolutionists argue this Comparative Anatomy proves their point but they are using the design argument which requires a creator so nullify their own argument of accidental occurrences & support a creator.  

The latest bird archaeoraptor liaoningenesis was a hoax as was the earlier 1661 find of the arohaeopteryx.htmljs. The very recent supposed discovery in China of a dinosaur with feathers was published in Nov 1999 National Geographic Magazine with drawings. The other 1661 hoax stood for years as macroevolutions proof before being proven to be just a bird.
This recent hoax is now proven as a lie because the discoverers combined skeleton parts of both birds & dinosaurs. The fraud was detected by ultraviolet light and CT. These frauds do not stand as long today like in the past because of newer methods of fraud detection. The National Geographic magazine was not known to retract the hoax. The Piltdown man, the Java man, the Nebraska man, the Orca man, the Neanderthal man, are all proven not to be what was claimed with most being proven hoaxes & Lucys frame was flawed. For years these were claimed to be evidence for macro-evolution i.e. changing all the way from one celled animals to ape to man. Why not prove for oneself by searching these names on the Internet because the hoaxes are on the net but evolutionists cannot still make their original claims of macroevolution in these cases.
Evolutions record is at least six failures & frauds and no successes. Macroevolution is lacking even one examples of any proof.

One of the favorite non believers statements about the fallacy of the bible was that the bible was in error in referring to the Hittites 11 times yet there was not a single statement in any secular history about Hittites. In 1906, archeologists excavations extensively proved Hittites existence. Now we have an extensive archeological history of the Hittites. Men as usual believed the critics & not the bible for years until proven wrong. Look up Hittites on the net.

Though not intended as a science book the bible agrees with all proven science. Remember science is found to change in numerous cases & is still not all proven but only that men think they are. As stated earlier a test, often misused, says a science is a fact because it hasnt been proven wrong which leads to the failures of what are only theories being promoted wrongfully as fact for years.

There is no problem in studying these theories but they should not be claimed as absolute fact. Many non believers imply that Christians have no understanding of science & are holding back science. They themselves can only hope they are correct by believing in unproven theory until it is discarded as often has been the case.

It is more reasonable for me to believe the bible with its many proofs rather than to believe so many hoaxes, unproven misconceptions, & unproven theories that I come across & reveal some of them in this writing. They, as stated, rely on unproven science with only a claim that the science is true because it has not yet been proven wrong. This is a misused claim or test that has over & over proven to be a false claim but with out it they have no proof of macroevolution. The claim has allowed falsehoods to be included in school texts as truth far too many times & much too long. Science is extremely important to everyone especially Christians as saving & preserving lives is what we are about.

Evolutionists belief goes contrary to science as we know it. There is no evidence that inert chemicals change into living chemicals. Granted life exists but why it does rides only on hope.

I can see conflicts in the following science tests & know that most have to be wrong. I could believe only the tests that prove the earth to be relatively young which, some believe, favors the bible & outnumber the old earth tests. They dont agree so obviously are wrong or they are misunderstood so why take a position on any of the following tests.
I just accept what God says that man is not capable of knowing all nor did God reveal everything to us except what we need. The year of beginning time is not known by me & I wont try to guess how many years ago the beginning started.

Like God said, man is somewhat confused.

I can not disregard, the fulfilled prophesies, archeology, history, historical societies, Gods warnings, & the many people with intelligent credentials.
How can one instead believe the person with little to no credentials except repeating various false comments on the bible that they do not seemingly have knowledge of. These comments are often passed along many times from the same kind of people who miss uses microevolution evidence to jump to macroevolution, yet presents no evidence of macroevolution. Any scientist who bashes the bible please look close at his credentials and often you will find little qualification concerning development of life.   

To me choosing God makes a much better choice because His creations are far beyond my understanding, even though I have a BS in chemistry, & minor in Biology. As a scientist I played a minor role in bringing to the world some life saving products like the childhood vaccines, Polio, Red Measles, German Measles, Mumps vaccine, the corticosteroids, the first thiazide diuretic, vitamin K TM Mephyton & many others. I am very proud to have, even in my very minor role, assisted in saving lives & especially protecting children from deformities resulting from polio vaccine & German measles which are virtually eradicated today.

I understand science, archeology, history, astronomy, & facts the bible reveals that could not have been known by the writers of the bible with out inspiration. I dont mean to bash anyone but most of us are not nearly as smart as we may believe we are.

God gave information on many facts of science far earlier than man could have known such fact. An example is Vitamin K is necessary to prevent bleeding. Vitamin K is produced in the intestine but infants under eight days old cannot produce Vitamin K as the stomach hasnt become fully functional until eight days so Gods instructions were to circumcise at eight days of age. Merck & Company discovered vitamin K, trade name Mephyton, and now infants are given vitamin K injections so they now can be circumcised at birth for convenience. The 0.T. Law on circumcision was replaced by the New Testament so the eight day wait is no longer required.

Genesis 17:12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.

Some evolutionists & non believers imply that Christians are backward & have no understanding of science & are holding back science. This is as far from the truth as they could get. Christians believe God created science and that science is good & should be studied and used for good.

Evolutionists themselves can only hope they are correct by believing in unproven theory. It is more reasonable for me to believe the bible with its many proofs rather than believe hoaxes, unproven misconceptions, & unproven theories that are being wrongly promoted. They rely on unproven science with only a claim that it hasnt yet been proven wrong.

The bible was not written as a science book but God included many scientific facts long before they were learned by men & men were given credit for their discovery.
