Let us, to you all, be perfectly clear
Why, humbly, our poetry exists here

Reciting poetry is a delightful way
To praise our Almighty day by day
To be reminded of Him so we pray
To be on His team to make a play
To tell others, that, they not stray
To stop tears that on our laps lay
To block vain  pride from  our sway
To make our paths happy and gay
To prepare for the judgement day
To put more love in what we say

Our cup runs over if love we give
Making our life more joyous to live

If we only sit down and add it up
Poetry is a song to add to our cup
